Welcome to Pacific Western Traders, a Native American Indian Gallery and Resource Center in northern California since 1971
Pacific Western Traders is a Mecca for collectors of American Indian art, for students of Indian cultures, and for Native Americans in search of traditional supplies.
Collectors find a wide range of basketry, pottery, beadwork, quillwork, fetish carvings, jewelry, sculpture, paintings, and weavings, Navajo and Mexican folk art, Northwest Coast Carvings, Iroquois masks, and more. Students and teachers discover an extensive collection of Native American books and tribal arts for teaching aids. Native Americans find all the above plus beads and craft supplies; sweetgrass, sages, copal, and other traditional herbs; pipes and pipestone; posole, blue cornmeal, dried sweet corn, acorn, and other native foods; recordings of traditional and contemporary Native American music; videos, and periodicals; blankets and clothing; drums, flutes and rattles.
We specialize in traditional and contemporary arts of California’s native people and provide resource contacts for educational presentations.
